On February 18th 2007, Alan & Louise were married on the grounds at Observatory Cottages amongst close family & friends. It was a very hot day of 42 degrees as we recall. Alan & Louise were married in Owls Croft garden by a Celebrant, had their Wedding photo's done their as well and stayed in Owls Croft for their first night together as Husband & Wife. They took a short stroll up the garden path leading to Ironbark Cottage where they were greeted by family & friends to Congratulate them. After a few champagnes & nibbles the party got started. Alan & Louise had a wonderful caterer whom took full advantage of the use of Ironbark's kitchen to prepare all of their delicious dishes for an outdoor feast. All in all the day was just perfect!! Alan & Louise now reside in England & one day hopefully they will return to visit us.
As the Hosts of our wedding here, as the providers of such a beautiful place,
to spend our wedding night and as two people who have become so very special
friends we will remember....thank you Leeanne & Daniel.
Nothing was too much trouble, you thought of everything.
You deserve all the success your future will bring. xxoxx

Lisa & Andrew were married at Observatory Cottages in December 2008 amidst their family & friends. Lisa & Andrew stayed with us for 1 week prior leading up to their special day. On the day of the Wedding Andrew arranged to have a String Quartet & Soloist set up in Ironbarks Garden while Lisa was having finishing touches done in Owls Croft Cottage.
As Lisa & her Father prepare to walk the pathway between the two cottages (where Andrew is awaiting) the strings & the Soloist begin with Ava Maria, it was truly amazing, the music carried through the property and sounded so heavenly. Guests who were here for a few days break sat & enjoyed the ceremony from the comfort of their veranda (brought a tear to everyone's eye). After the ceremony they ventured into Ironbark Cottage to Sign the Register & have their photo's taken, while Family & Guests made their way to Owls Croft Garden where a Marquee was set up for dinner & drinks. As this Wedding was late in the Afternoon 5pm and the weather was just ideal, & the backdrop of Port Phillip bay & night lights were a perfect way to end a perfect day.
We wish Andrew & Lisa the very best in their life's Journey together. Stay Happy.
A few words of Thanks from Andrew & Lisa on their departure.
